The GAIN Aftermarket Team Leaders

Steve and Arnie first crossed paths in 1996 when Arnie was Director of Specialty Products and Market Research at Fel-Pro.

They worked closely on the launch and ongoing marketing efforts for Magnum Gaskets and groomed the brand for sale to Dana Inc. in 2016.

Arnie Fox

Arnie brings over 30 years of experience and accomplishments in the North American aftermarket, utilizing his unique combination of strategic, managerial, analytical, and promotional skills. After earning his degree as a mechanical engineer, he joined Fel-Pro Incorporated, working in product testing and development. His credentials expanded with an MBA in Marketing, as he launched the aftermarket’s first market research department, dedicated solely to an in-depth understanding of installers and distribution channels. These insights helped move Fel-Pro Gaskets into a dominant market position.

As the needs of the aftermarket have evolved over the years, so have Arnie’s responsibilities and assignments grown with three aftermarket companies. These have ranged from the broadest “macro” strategic planning to very “micro” details of advertising campaigns, e-cataloging, training materials and digital marketing techniques. Arnie recently played a pivotal role in reintroducing “Victor Reinz by Dana” in the North American aftermarket and his experience outside of the automotive world, in safety products, printers and consumables, has broadened his marketing perspective.

Seeing the world from the viewpoint of potential customers, and leading them through the “market journey” that ultimately results in a purchase, satisfaction and loyalty, is always Arnie’s objective.
